From September 9 to 12, 2025, the Italy International Natural Gas Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as “Gastech”) was held as scheduled in Milan. Centered on the theme of “Accelerating the Development of Future Energy,” the exhibition attracted over 50,000 industry experts from 150 countries. Participants gathered to analyze trends in the European energy market, focusing on market growth, technological innovation, and optimizing energy systems, while providing a platform for technical exchange and resource collaboration for global energy enterprises.

As a key hub in Europe’s energy transition, Italy has in recent years accelerated the upgrading of its energy infrastructure and the deployment of renewable energy, strengthened its diversified energy strategy, and plans to double its energy import capacity within the next decade.
