NAPEC 2026, the Africa & Mediterranean Energy & Hydrogen Exhibition and Conference, concluded successfully following its October 5–7 run. Wanli returned to this major North African oil and gas event after exhibiting in both 2023 and 2024.Known as a major oil hub in North Africa, Algeria ranks 15th globally in proved oil reserves and 10th in proved natural gas reserves. The oil and gas sector is a pillar of the national economy, accounting for more than 90% of the country’s total export value and underpinning strong demand for oil and gas development. At this year’s event, Wanli focused on strengthening strategic cooperation with existing customers in North Africa while pursuing further opportunities in Algeria and the wider regional oil and gas market.

At the exhibition, Wanli showcased a broad range of materials and related products for oil and gas field operations, tailored to the operating practices and market requirements of Algeria’s oilfields. The company continues to expand its material supply capabilities to provide customers with more comprehensive support for oil and gas field development. With an established local warehousing network supported by coordinated overseas warehouses, Wanli maintains inventory close to customers, substantially reducing the time customers need to wait for ocean freight and customs clearance. This enables a rapid response to urgent oilfield orders across North Africa, Southern Europe and the Mediterranean region, helping address long supply lead times and difficulties in emergency replenishment for overseas oilfield projects.Wanli’s professional supply chain services were well received by customers at the exhibition. The company also established initial business contacts with several companies and identified priorities for follow-up discussions.
As a global platform for supplying materials for oil and gas field development, Wanli is expanding its market reach while working with partners worldwide to explore new directions for the industry. Building on its core oil and gas business, the company is extending its capabilities into geothermal and other subsurface energy applications, as well as concentrated solar power, carbon sequestration and high-end metal casting. Through this transition toward more sustainable operations and services tailored to specific applications, Wanli aims to support industrial development, create value for customers and strengthen the material supply capabilities that underpin the global energy industry.
NAPEC 2026 has concluded, but Wanli continues to strengthen its North African presence and expand its global reach. The SPE Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition (ATCE) will take place in Houston, Texas, USA, from October 21 to 23. We look forward to seeing you in Houston.
